The artist duo Dyad El Erique intentionally placed the brushes and paints into the hands of the exhibition's visitors. Each participant became a co-creator, leaving individual marks on the canvas regardless of artistic background, style, or technical skill. Through the accumulation of diverse gestures, color choices, rhythms, and brushstrokes, a complex visual structure gradually emerged. Only after this collective process did Ellen and Frederik return to the painting, responding to and further developing the composition that had taken shape. From the multitude of individual contributions, an eye emerged, not as a predetermined subject, but as a natural response to the visual language already established through the participants' shared creativity. The work embodies an open-ended artistic process in which energy, emotion, and human encounter are absorbed, distilled, and transformed into a new visual language. This participatory approach will continue to shape the future practice of Dyad El Erique. Visitors leave behind impulses, emotions, and traces, which are then interpreted, refined, and transformed by the artist duo. The final image is never predetermined; it reveals itself only through the ongoing dialogue between collective creation and El Erique's artistic interpretation.
